Training and development are passions of ours at Switchback Designs. We love the process of helping practitioners deepen their practice and understanding of experiential learning. With over 40 years of combined experience, we apply our knowledge and expertise together to facilitate sessions that are active and grounded in theory. Whether you are a seasoned facilitator and want to look behind the curtain, playing with applying design theory to experiential learning, looking for new ways you can improve outcomes, or you are simply interested in gaining a deeper knowledge of how to apply our text and tools to your programs - we have you covered. We have trained HR and talent development teams, team building facilitators, educators, and camp professionals.

Mentored Intentionally

One of the tenets of Switchback Designs is to bring new experiential products, tools, and activities to the training and development field.

The industry needs intentionally designed training and tools, whether they come from Switchback Designs or not. We know that there are many idea generators out there; they may just need a coach, consultant, or gentle push to move from idea to product. That is one of the reasons we are here.

We design trainings or iterative development processes that meets your needs. As we develop an appropriate approach to the training or product development process, we will consult with you over multiple conversations and an in-depth needs assessment to bring either customized tools or trainings to life.

In Emergenetics Experiential programs we have each of our program participants complete the profile prior to their engagement with Switchback Design. Results are delivered during the experiential retreat.. Having equipped each person with a basic understanding of the Emergenetics tools, we use the language and understanding of Emergenetics to work in hands on experiential sessions. The behaviors and thinking preferences (and their corresponding “colors”) have help participants find a new way of engaging with their colleges in the workplace.
